Bolton by Bowland TT Results
Some fortunate sunshine for the season opener TT at Bolton by Bowland hosted by Rossendale Road club. A decent field of 53 turned out, many testing their legs before the Clayton Classic road race on the following day.
The overall win went to Tyler Hanny of UCI Conti team St Piran, with a margin of over a minute to the 2nd place Tactic rider Lawrence Bryn. The road bike winner was Ribble rider Metheven Bond.
For the women the fastest on the day was Abigail Wade on a road bike with an impressive 29:53, Joanna Cebrit of 360 Cycling picking up the TT bike prize.
For Rossendale, Craig Venske went fastest with 26:19. Michael Taylor, Derek Schofield, Barry Topham and Adrian Watts also took part, for Adrian it was a return to racing after a long 5 years.
On the women’s side, Helen Thomas started her season strongly with a 37:54.
